Carrie Barker

Carrie grew up in London and enjoyed a corporate career in the absolutely fabulous world of magazine publishing, managing a variety of brands from ELLE and Grazia to Mother& Baby, FHM and Zoo.

She made a decision to follow her heart and joined creative agency, the projects*, as a partner where she became an entrepreneur for the first time in her 40’s. The growth of the business has been amazing and the projects* now have offices in Sydney, London, New York and LA.

Carrie is one of the few female owners of a creative agency here in Australia and is secretly over 50 – but she firmly believes that her age and experience empower her but does not define her. She listens to Post Malone, shops at Top Shop, drinks Archie Rose, and wears Reebok Classics.
