My name is Jackson, the brother of Thomas, the founder and CEO of WeFlex Pty Ltd.
Like everyone, it’s hard to break an unhealthy habit and lifestyle, because routine leads to comfort, and breaking that routine – even if it’s for your own good – can lead to discomfort.
But when you have a disability, either severe or high-functioning, it can be even harder, for there are physical and mental obstacles to overcome.
As someone with high-functioning autism, or Asperger’s, it can be hard to navigate your way through a Gym, to know what your limitations are, to know if you’re ‘doing it right.’
So to have someone – with patience and clarity – help you navigate your way through Gym, to help you understand the ‘do’s and don’ts,’ can make the experience easier and enjoyable.
Aside from attending the Gym with my brother, I also work as a freelance Illustrator and cartoonist residing in Sydney.
Ever since I was a kid I’ve had a love and passion for art, drawing and storytelling – everything my ‘Aspie’ brain can conjure.
Aside from art, my other interests include reading, writing and researching. I hope to one day become a published author and novelist.
